Mercado Libre Logistics & Tracking Hub

Every way to track a Mercado Libre order — country by country

Mercado Libre is Latin America's largest marketplace, and it runs its own logistics network, Mercado Envíos — but "Mercado Libre" isn't one website. It's 18 separate country sites, each with its own domain, help center, and mix of local carriers. This hub links straight to the real pages that exist for the major markets, plus the developer platform behind them all.

There is no single mercadolibre.com. Argentina is mercadolibre.com.ar, Mexico is mercadolibre.com.mx, Brazil is mercadolivre.com.br (Portuguese), Colombia is mercadolibre.com.co, and so on for 18 countries. Tracking, help, and seller tools all live on the country-specific domain where the order was placed.

Section 02

How Mercado Envíos Actually Works

Mercado Envíos is Mercado Libre's own logistics brand — but it covers several genuinely different services, and which one applies changes both speed and who's carrying your box.

Mercado Envíos Full

Fastest

Sellers store inventory in Mercado Libre's own fulfillment warehouses; orders ship directly from there, enabling same-day or next-day delivery in major cities.

TimeframeSame day to 1–2 business days in major cities
HandoffMercado Libre warehouse → Mercado Envíos network → buyer

Mercado Envíos Flex

Local / same-day

The seller ships from their own location, but delivery is handled by local courier partners coordinated through the Mercado Envíos app — often same-day in eligible areas.

TimeframeOften same day in eligible zones
HandoffSeller's location → local Flex courier → buyer

Colecta / Traditional Envíos

Standard

Mercado Envíos picks up ("colecta") from the seller's address, or the seller drops off at a shipping point; the parcel then moves through Mercado Envíos' broader network, which can include national postal services.

TimeframeTypically 3–7 business days
HandoffSeller → Mercado Envíos network → national post/local courier → buyer
How to tell which one you got: The listing shows a shipping badge (Full, Flex, or standard Mercado Envíos), and the order's shipment detail page names the actual courier once it's assigned.

Section 03

Mercado Libre Tracking Systems

Tracking runs through Mercado Libre's own order page first, with a courier-level view available for most shipments.

Section 04

Order Numbers vs. Shipment Tracking

Order number ≠ tracking (guía) number. Mercado Libre's own order ID is not the same as the courier's tracking code, and the two are entered in different places.

IdentifierUsed ForCustomer Visible?Tracking Purpose
Order NumberIdentifying your purchase inside "Mis compras"YesNot a tracking number; used to open the order and its shipment detail
Shipment / Guía NumberFollowing the physical parcel once Mercado Envíos or a courier has itYes, shown on "Seguir envío"Trackable on the order's own shipment-detail map, or the named courier's site
Full Warehouse ReferenceA seller's inbound shipment to a Mercado Libre Full fulfillment centerNo (seller-side only)Tracked by the seller inside "Gestión de envíos Full," not by the buyer

Tracking-number formats vary by country and courier — Mercado Libre does not publish one universal pattern, so always copy the exact code shown on the order's shipment-detail screen.

Section 05

Mercado Libre Carrier Ecosystem

Mercado Envíos is the umbrella, but the courier actually knocking on your door varies enormously by country.

CountryCommon Carriers Under Mercado EnvíosTrack Here
ArgentinaMercado Envíos own fleet, Correo Argentinocorreoargentino.com.ar ↗
BrazilMercado Envíos own fleet, Correiosrastreamento.correios.com.br ↗
MexicoMercado Envíos own fleet, regional couriers (e.g. Urbano Express, Estafeta)Shown on the order's shipment-detail page
Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, othersMercado Envíos own fleet plus local national/regional couriersShown on the order's shipment-detail page

In most of Mercado Libre's largest markets, a growing share of Mercado Envíos volume moves through Mercado Libre's own logistics fleet rather than a national post — but coverage varies by city, so always check the specific courier named on your order.

Section 06 — Troubleshooting

"¿Quién está entregando mi pedido de Mercado Libre?"

Five steps to identify the carrier and follow your shipment.

Open "Mis compras" on your country's site

Sign in to the exact domain where you placed the order — e.g. mercadolibre.com.ar for Argentina.

Select "Seguir envío" on the order

This opens the shipment-detail view with a live status timeline and, for Full orders, an interactive map.

Note the courier name shown

It may be Mercado Envíos' own fleet, the national post (Correios, Correo Argentino, etc.), or a regional courier.

Cross-check on the named courier's own site

Use the links in Section 05 for the most detailed scan history where available.

No updates or item never arrived?

Open a claim from the order page — Mercado Libre's buyer protection is built into "Mis compras" rather than a separate portal.

Track your Mercado Libre order

Jump to the tracker or go straight to your country's help page.

Section 07

Mercado Envíos Shipment Lifecycle (Full Path)

Where tracking visibility appears at each stage of a Full-fulfilled order.

Stage 1

Seller ships inventory to Mercado Libre

The seller prepares stock and sends it (or arranges "colecta" pickup) to a Mercado Libre fulfillment center.

Stage 2

Stock received & processed

Mercado Libre confirms receipt; the seller can track this in "Gestión de envíos Full," though it's not visible to buyers yet.

Stage 3

Customer order placed

A buyer purchases the Full-tagged listing — the order enters the standard "Mis compras" flow.

Stage 4

Picked, packed & dispatched

The item ships directly from the Mercado Libre warehouse — this is when the shipment tracking number appears.

Stage 5

In transit / out for delivery

Visible on the order's "Seguir envío" map, often with real-time courier location for local deliveries.

Stage 6

Delivered

Confirmed on the order page; in many countries a delivery photo or signature is also shown.

Flex and standard Mercado Envíos orders skip Stages 1–2 (no warehouse leg) — the seller ships directly, so tracking starts at Stage 4.

Section 08

Selling on Mercado Libre & Seller Tools

Each country runs its own "Centro de Vendedores" (Seller Center), plus a separate Global Selling program for sellers based outside Latin America.

Link verification log: All mercadolibre.com.* / mercadolivre.com.br, vendedores.mercadolibre.com.*, developers.mercadolibre.com.*, and global-selling.mercadolibre.com URLs were confirmed live at time of writing via direct search-indexed content sourced from those exact domains. Correo Argentino and Correios (Brazil) tracking URLs were independently confirmed from their own domains. Re-verify quarterly — this is an 18-country platform, and individual country help-page paths (the numeric IDs after /ayuda/) change independently per site.
FAQ schema: Mark up the FAQ accordion with FAQPage/Question/Answer JSON-LD.
Breadcrumb: Home / Tracking Hubs / Mercado Libre Logistics & Tracking Hub — implement with BreadcrumbList schema.
Maintenance: Re-check country-domain availability, the current list of countries with Full/Flex, and which national postal services remain Mercado Envíos partners at least quarterly — this is the fastest-changing part of the page given how many separate country operations are involved.
